Vacheron Constantin Logo

Founded in 1755 and known locally as "La Fabrique", a promising young master watchmaker called Jean-Marc Vacheron set up shop alongside many of his peers and soon found himself very much at home among his peers.

Soon Jean-Marc was producing exceptional timepieces that found appreciative customers all over Europe. Jean-Marc's etherical principles and pride of craftmanship still steer and inspire the company of today.

Francois Constantin was a seasoned merchant, tireless traveller and an excellent salesman. He introduced and marvels of Vacheron's mechanical timepieces across Europe and joined forces with and formed the partnership that is now Vacheron Constantin.
